now I see in compositions rather I have always, perhaps it was, I just didn’t  stop to take pictures, of humble things that surround us.. like the red corrugated iron in old sheds, the old arch bridges, the light and nature reflected in lakes.. The ignored iconic rustic structures of yesteryear as we drive on past..

my camera is now my travelling companion on the journey that is life capturing and recording moments in time..

Craig’s hut is on the list, perhaps with snow covered mountains, and a photograhic stroll to Maldon soon.

Yay placement is finished for this semester, folio selection is going well.. was at the bendigo cathedral for a wedding, last weekend, got some shots inside which I have changed to black n white, with a high blue contrast filter on PhotoShop, will upload in the morning. I have missed the dfap on Friday mornings, but have been teaching, can’t wait to get back to uni for some feedback on images..

Five days of placement completed, On the drive over to Broadford every morning armed with my camera. who sits comfortably on the passenger seat waiting.

The morning fog lays amongest the Lancefield surrounding hills. I have taken some photos and will upload when I get a chance.

Taught my first Mixed media year 8 class today being Tuesday.

The secondary school is so different to what I expected so much disengagement is alarming, but in saying that, all the students completed the drawing requirements of proportions of the face and added their own personalities to them, no two were the same.

so I guess what ever I did worked, got great feedback from my mentor!

Tomorrow (Wednesday) it’s 3D art with the year 10’s they are going to create a pinch pot head out of clay. That is all from me for now have to finish a lesson plan

:) bye
